The question I am most frequently asked at the farmer's market is: "So what do I do with all this stuff?" That is the question this cookbook seeks to answer. I have culled through my recipes, gathered wonderful ideas from family, friends, and customers and collected them for you.

The kitchen is a wonderful environment in which to play, experiment and be creative. This book is full of suggestions and recipes that beg you to try them and change them to suit your mood, palate, diet, and lifestyle. Everyone's palate is unique, craving different amounts of salt, sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy. I urge you to let your imagination and personal tastes guide you in your culinary efforts. Feel free to be inspired by my products and recipes while substituting your preferences and dietary needs for any listed ingredients.

Cooking is a fun activity that progresses and changes the more that you practise it. Not to mention that your fortunate roommates, friends, and neighbors reap the benefits of your experimental efforts. There are 2 typographical errors in the cookbook.

  • Carrot Cake or Muffins - page 33 - add 3 Eggs to list of ingredients
  • California Cheesecake - page 22 - it should read:
    1 lb 8 oz Cream Cheese, not 12 oz
